Stake ATOM Using Keplr
We love the Interchain and Cosmos ecosystem. We show our support by running validators for multiple chains including Kava, Nomic, Band, Seda, Side, and Babylon, while also serving as a governor for Stride. Additionally, we support the Cosmos Hub by running an ATOM validator but are inactive and don’t earn rewards.
Rising into the active set of ATOM validators has been a longtime aspiration. This means we need ATOM tokens and a collaborative effort with delegators like yourself.
We seek your assistance, and in this ATOM staking guide, we will demonstrate how to stake using Ledger Live and how to switch validators and redelegate to our inactive ATOM validator. The more help we get, the faster we can be cranking out rewards commission free for you!

SECOND we will show those who are not currently staking ATOM how to stake with us while inactive.

It’s a shame that Melea validator has been dishonest and deceived delegators. We sincerely appreciate your help in getting us into the active set of Cosmos Hub validators. Crypto is full of scammers and the Cosmos Hub should have a zero-tolerance policy to protect its users.
Remember, the faster we get into the active set, the faster you are earning those juicy ATOM rewards. So, share our 0% commission special on your social channels!

Frequently Asked Questions
Does staking ATOM pay?
ATOM staking offers one of the highest yields for a large cap token, but constantly fluctuates so check mintscan for the current ATOM staking APY.
Is Cosmos ATOM staking safe?
Cosmos ecosystem staking is among the safest because it uses a staking module instead of smart contracts. However, if your validator goes offline for too long you can lose 0.01% of your staked tokens, which is usually pennis. It’s meant to embarrass the validator more than anything else.
If your validator mismanages their keys or tries to steal by double signing a block, the penalty is much stiffer. You would lose 5% of your staked tokens and the validator is permanently removed from the set. That’s called being, “Tombstoned.”
Where to stake ATOM tokens?
ATOM can be staked at centralized exchanges, like Coinbase, Kraken and Binance but we urge you not to stake there. CEXs constantly change their commission to bait and switch investors. Coinbase can charge anywhere between 20% and 50% commission!
The highest ATOM staking yield will come by staking from a non-custodial wallet, like Keplr, Leap, Cosmostation or Ledger Live. Plus, staking from a noncustodial wallet will enable you to claim free crypto in the form of airdrops.
What is staking redelegation?
Redelegating is the act of switching validators without unstaking your tokens. This tutorial should have shown you exactly how to redelegate using Keplr.
